Royal Geographical Society (RGS) with IBG Annual International Conference, 28-31 August 2018 in Cardiff, UK

Members of the geographical and related communities are invited to propose sessions, papers and posters for the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2018.  The chair’s theme for the 2018 Annual Conference is Geographical landscapes / changing landscapes of geography. We welcome sessions and papers which engage directly with this theme, as well as others focusing on all areas of geography. The AESOP sustainable food planning group invites abstract submissions from established and as well as early stage and postgraduate researchers for the FGWG sponsored session “Community self-organisation and landscapes of food justice and sustainability” (deadline 9th of Febuary to Moya Kneafsey (m.kneafsey@coventry.ac.uk) and Mustafa Hasanov (m.h.hasanov@rug.nl) by 9th of February 2018) and  “Edible Urban Landscapes: Critical perspectives” (deadline 8th of February to r.st.clair@mmu.ac.uk). The general deadline for submission to the conference programme (organised sessions, papers or posters) is Friday 16 February 2018.  All submissions should be received by this date.
