Friday, 15th of January 2021 10 am – 12 am CET.
The InnoLAND project consortium, with the international partners ECLAS, IFLA Europe and LE:NOTRE is organising the establishment of the group for a Common Training Framework for Landscape Architecture in the European Union. This will also include the revision of the 2010 ECLAS Guidance and the IFLA recognition criteria. We aim to submit a draft of the key elements of the CTF to the IFLA Europe, ECLAS for their general assemblies in 2021.
After the kick off we invite you to have a deep reflection on the main challenges and policies regarding the competences for landscape architecture (that encompasses planning, design, project implementation, and management) that need to be considered in the present context. We really appreciate your knowledge on the current landscape challenges at a national level. This justifies the necessity of including representatives of all European Union countries. We envisage at least two members of each country representing both academic institutions and professional organisations acting as national contacts for your local discussion groups. On that basis, we aim to build a common vision of what the Landscape Architecture profession is and what it should address in the future.
The process of building this framework is done in the framework of ERASMUS+ project InnoLAND in which VILNIUS TECH (Lithuania), IFLA Europe (Belgium), LE:NOTRE Institute (the Netherlands), Aalto University (Finland), Hungarian University for Agriculture and Life Science (Hungary), TU Wien (Austria) and Evora university (Portugal) are the partners.
On behalf of the InnoLAND project, ECLAS and IFLA Europe,
