Large-scale landscape design – gravel pit restoration

This project involved designing landform for the afteruse of a gravel pit in Estonia which will eventually be filled with water. The students started by developing ideas in sand down on a river beach, then built models after which they planned uses and designed the vegetation using ecological principles.
