  • Abstract in English : OUTLINE: This study is an attempt to link spontaneous path decisions with the process of information assembly suggested in this paper. Firstly, visible human activity as a motivator in path choice is assessed. Secondly, we consider broad architectural features of building and open space relationships, path layout and pictorial organization as motivators of path choice. This study explores the significance of human and architectural features of the landscape in path choice as a first step toward a more empirically based design discipline.
