  • Contents in English : The aims of this study were to test the degree of attachment to tree different spatial levels or ranges -house, neighbourhood, and city--, and two dimensions –physical and social, and analyse the differences between them. The authors also tried out to find out whether the different types of attachment to place vary depending on sociodemographic characteristics such as age, sex, and social class. The results indicate that attachment to place develops to different degrees within different spatial ranges and dimensions. Among the results, there can be highlight that 1) attachment to neighbourhood is the weakest; 2) social attachment is greater than physical attachment; and 3) the degree of attachment varies with age and sex.
