- Abstract in English : Although the concept of residential satisfaction has been used in an increasing number of studies, few of them have paid attention to the identification of the components that affect the degree of residents’ satisfaction. The major weakness is that they ignore the criteria held by the residents themselves. The main objective of this research was to identify the physical and socio-environmental components of a neighbourhood hypothesized to have some influence on the degree of residents’ satisfaction.
