  • Contents in English : Australian landscape architects are discovering the benefits of nature-like native planting in urban public space. If the nature like landscape is to be more widely supported by the broader community, it must be on the basis of being loved rather than suffered as a worthy good. Good design is extremely important to ensure that the reconstructed habitat landscapes are as attractive as possible to the community at large, but also possess some intrinsic merits as ecosystems to support other life forms.
