- Brief Description : This project undertook a historical study of the development of the gardens and wider "policies" or park from the 1700s to the present day in order to identify the main elements that needed to be conserved and those aspects that could be restored or removed. This was a preminary to the more detailed management of the trees, tree clumps, avenues and woods that comprise the estate.
