- Abstract : This paper investigates the concept of Landscape on a progressive and integrative view, pleading for re-considering it from a humanistic perspective, relying on the landscape as process in space and time, which “hatch” from its own history and whose beauty distributes without being divided, based on the ability of those who shape and those who live it, to understand it from the higher level of creativity. Starting from Noica's concept of becoming, which is more than a linear crossing of ages, the book is an approach to bring to light the Landscape as a theoretical construct, judging it with an impartial and "democratic" attitude: judging the landscape transforming otherwise than its past-ridden (with a static nostalgia after all isn't no longer) and otherwise than unconscious (with an indiscriminately in-satiety for any new-building). The method used a "poetic modality" to capture the subject, avoiding repetition/ imitation of already established landscape's history, in which it is seen as only as art of gardens, or only as painting and image. Also the work address the issue of identifying the landscape - as an operational tool, but not all split of its theoretical frame (as it has been done by many “handbooks" on landscape identification subject), but in an integrative way, arising from landscape perception and creative reading.
