  • Abstract in English : This study focused on preference for a variety of waterscapes. Analysis of preference for scenes indicated that the type of waterscape, viewing time, and six preference predictors as identified by informational approach to preference – texture, coherence, complexity, spaciousness, mystery, and identifiability – all play a role in determining preference. In the most preferred grouping, characterised by rough surfaces, mystery, coherence and spaciousness positively predicted preference.
