- Contents in English : This study examined the effectiveness of environmental education programs on the environmental knowledge and attitudes of 267 male and female sixth grade students in a New York City school district. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of non formal environmental education program conducted at Alley Pond Environmental Centre. The positive significant result of this study demonstrate the importance of environmental educational programs, such as those provided at this Center.
