The aim of the diploma work is to develop the Arstafeltet spatial development concept, based on sustainability. The proposal for Arstafeltet area has been focused on the land use and transport infrastructure. The purpose of the design concept is to create a living environment, preserving the natural landscape as much as possible.
Diploma project consists of 4 chapters:
In the 1st Chapter is given the characteristic of the Arstafeltet area and is explored the existing situation – the area’s history, the landscape space, functions, transport infrastructure studies and research about the way local residents use Arstafaltet sites.
2nd Chapter describes the Scandinavian experience in the planning of the similar areas.
Based on the analysis of the Arstafeltet area, 3rd Chapter presents the sustainable development proposal for the site.
4th Chapter includes the requirements for the construction and maintenance.
Diploma work consists form the illustration article on the 53 pages; there are included 37 illustrations and 12 attachments, as well as graphic part, made on 5 A0 planchetts.
