- Abstract in English : This chapter is on building an Alzheimer’s garden in a public park. The four objectives are: Create a restorative environment meeting the needs of those with dementia, their families, and their caregivers; Promote the project as a model or demonstration garden to teach how to design restorative gardens; Use the garden as a tool for public education about Alzheimer’s disease; provide increased recreational opportunities to the citizens of the Portland metropolitan area.
