- Abstract in English : Global climate change is in full swing. Scientists assume that the average global temperature will increase about 1,5o Celsius within the next years. Serious climatic changes can only be avoided by reducing the emissions of green house gases in a more stringent way. One solution is the excessive utilisation of renewable energies and the exploitation of existing energy-efficient potentials. These measures can be initiated by a 1o-year future programme and financed by a voluntary ‘future bond’ A definite example of innovative energy saving technology is the thermally insulating green roof build-up. The special economic benefits imply: energy saving for heating in wintertime; energy saving for air conditioning in summer time; prolongation of the life expectancy of the waterproofing. This applies in particular for often poorly thermally insulated old flat roofs which have to be refurbished within the next years.
