- Abstract in English : Where do landscape architects begin when creating a healing garden? The basic approaches to landscape design and the assessment how these support or conflict with the sensitive creation of a healing space are reviewed: traditional approaches, botanical/ecological approach, people-oriented approach. More and more disciplines are beginning to recognize the influence of the environment on physical and mental health. These disciplines are now beginning to address this connection by studying the effect that our surroundings have on a number of factors, or processes, which indicate how an individual may be reacting to his or her environment. It is the goal of this discussion to demystify the available research and thereby increase the accessibility of this information source
