- Abstract in English : This paper is dealing with the function of landscape designer in relation to healing gardens. A healer is conventionally a person who through various methods helps individuals to overcome physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances so that they can regain a sense of harmony and wholeness in themselves and their lives. Environmental designers (meaning here those whose concern is the design of environments primarily for man’s use) have a complicated task, They do not have the job of healing individuals but stand at the junction between man’s living space and nature, and have the task of creating environments that meet real human needs, without damaging and, often today, healing past damage caused to natural cycles and communities……If qualities of place conjure up similar responses in different people, then we can have more confidence in designing the sots of places that we know give us the greatest feeling of well being
