- Brief Description : The riverside revitalisation in Jelgava
encompasses both rivers Lielupe and Driksa along the urban area of Jelgava city
and Pasta island located in the mouth of the two streams and is currently under
construction (2013).
The waterfront next to Jana Cakstes Boulevard has been finished and is now
connected to Pasta island via a pedestrian/cyclist bridge.
The area accommodates cyclists and pedestrian paths from materials
including cast concrete, natural stone and asphalt. The street furniture
(street lamps, benches and bins) is made from weathering steel. - Designer : unknown
