  • Abstract in English : Environmental education is set to be a central topic of future school policy. To realize that integration of environmental education in school concepts will be necessary and should include outdoor classes. Integration of trail stations into school life improves the direct contact with their daily environment and helps to maintain and protect valuable urban biotopes. A didactic concept is presented, showing how urban ecology trails can be used for schools, and encouraging ecologically inexperienced teachers to integrate these places into outdoor classes.
