The project focuses on a thorough analysis of urban and rural green infrastructures in the context of historical development and structural metamorphoses of the landscape. A detailed knowledge of historical and current landscape structures of a settlement is essential for definition of spatial visions for a further sustainable development of a spatial unit. By landscape architectural and planning tools, the areal and spatial structures will be analysed in the context of environmental, economic and social issues. Within the green infrastructure, a morphological typology of urban agriculture in Slovak rural and urban conditions will be defined.
