With a territory of 2730 hectares including 1275 of national domain woodlands and green spaces, Versailles is heading a unique natural heritage that is crucial to develop and protect .The City was awarded the Environment Prize in 2009 for its global water management. With the Zero Phyto program for the whole of its green spaces including cemeteries, the Versailles water tables will avoid more than 130.000 litres of polluted products from now on.
