- Abstract in English : Two gardens of children’s’ hospitals are described. Designing a garden for children’s’ hospital can be a particular challenge. If it is going to function well for the variety of people who may seek to use it, the garden needs to be all of the following: a green oasis for burnt-0ut staff; a sanctuary for worried or grieving parents; an engaging environment for hospitalized children; a stimulating setting for the well siblings of an impatient; and a stress-reducing milieu for an outpatient child brought in for tests or frightening procedures.
