- Brief Description : This urban park was built in Ilsan new town a northwestern suburb city of Seoul. Construction began in 1992 and completed in 1995. Total area is approximately one square kilometer including a manmade lake of 300,000 square meters. The lake contains about 450,000 tons of water and the depth varies from 0.5 meters to 3 meters. The park has 4.7 kilometers of bikeway, many rest areas along the lake and in the planted greens, fountains, and a wetland education area of 28,000 square meters. As the lake is a manmade one, water should be taken in from the Han River at a considerable annual cost, and maintaining the water quality is not easy
