- Abstract in English : There is a need to move towards a view of urban environmental quality and allied concepts that cab draw together, in a practical way, the strands of related work from different fields. Environmental quality specialists have to understand how urban development and decision-making processes work and to understand the language, the tools an d the thought processes that are used by the development players. Furthermore they have to adopt approaches in which the environmental quality information assist the development players to propose and test scenarios.
