- Abstract in English : With 80% of Europeans living in urban environments, there is a great responsibility to future generations to get street, as the unit of the urban environment right: for the community, the economy and the supporting natural environment. The concept of sustainability has grown out of concern for the (natural) environment, and includes inter-related social, cultural and economic dimensions.
