Context : The Japanese garden is located, almost hidden, within a semi-natural woodland area, which is in turn part of the Spa Park that lies on the outskirts of the town of Ronneby in southern Sweden. The spa has its origins at the beginning of the 18th century, but the spa park in its current form was laid out in the 'Egnlish' style during the late 19th century.
Brief Description : A recent 'Japanese' garden which is seamlessly integrated into, and seems to grow naturally out of a Swedish forest, which is part of the Ronneby Brunnspark, a spa park dating from the late 19th century.
