  • Abstract in English : Certain aspects of personality show significant correlation with landscape preferences: people classified as less emotionally stable” prefer those landscapes containing structural rhythms and recurrent “patterns”, even sacrificing the universally accepted quality of vegetation spontaneity and vigour. People with high scores with regard to ‘sense of responsibility’ tent to reject hostile, defoliated or wintery landscapes, despite their greater legibility. This may have consequences for the planner. One of the concussions is: environmental education should be combined with public participation in the search for respectful, less technocratic and more efficient landscape planning.
