- Abstract in English : This chapter demonstrate that horticultural therapy can be beneficial by providing sensory stimuli for elderly residents with severe cognitive impairments to obtain the benefit from both horticultural and reminiscence therapies. Through this research, the diversity of potential abilities of elderly residents with cognitive impairment was observed. It is important that an activity has relevance to the elderly residents with cognitive impairment, is voluntary, and offers a reasonable chance for success. For that this paper provides some criteria.
