- Abstract : The urban mobility, by its complexity and importance, is a defining feature of the big contemporary "city-flow". The numerous determinations and effects that it has in various areas of human existence - social, economic, physical and natural environment - imposed the shift from a sectorial planning to a holistic approach regarding the systems of movements in urban territories. New integrated policies -Land & Transport - aim at the management of mobility in a sustainable logic. In this respect, organizing urban form should be given a set of principles to create prerequisites for sustainable mobility.
