  • Abstract in English : This paper reports on a project to develop and implement a participatory garden design process for the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters’ Burns and Plastic Surgery Unit at Vancouver General Hospital. The purpose of the project was twofold: to discover how the end users (staff, patients, visitors, and volunteers) would like the garden designed, and to provide therapeutic benefits to those participating in the design process through the process itself.
