Implementation Issues : The plan pursued the accomplishment of the following specific objectives:
- determination of a coherent structure (from an architectural, landscape and urban point) of the area stating, also, the necessary intervention categories for the materialisation of the project;
- the protection, rehabilitation and development of the natural heritage represented by green spaces in connection with land ecosystems;
- balanced and efficient distribution of the activities in the area, accordin to the determined urban function, the inclination of the area and its insertion in the spatial-
Problem Description : The Zonal Urban Plan CAROL PARK is part of Bucharest's Development Strategy, by accentuating the identity of the Capital city in line with its aspiration to become a European metropolis. In this way, it is created the need for the establishment and implementation of measures, aimed at improving the quality of urban spaces and increasing "urban prestige" as a major source of attracting investment and therefore growth of the city.
