- Brief Description : One of the last paradise gardens in the old Persian tradition to be built in Iran. The walled garden is situated in desert surroundings on the edge of the small town of Mahan. Water from the surrounding mountains is led down the natural slope of the site through a series of terraces. It falls over a series of cascades along the main axis, which is lined with cypress and plane trees. Either side of this are irrigated plantations with fruit trees.
