- Brief Description : Originally a private estate the park is now owned by the community. Originally outside the city walls, it now lies in the heart of the city. The park is located on a southern slope looking over the city. There are beech woods, wide lawns, clumps of old trees, lanes and winding pathes, a stream valley and intimate shrub gardens. In the centre lies a stately house, now a restaurant. The Dutch Water Museum is situated in a new building in the park.
