  • Abstract in English : There are remarkable differences in defining subject and problems landscape planning is dealing with. Search through the definitions that have been sent to the organizers of the International Conference: The contribution of Landscape Planning to Environmental Protection (Hannover, June 1990) supports the above statement. Despite differences and even vagueness in the definitions landscape planning could be defined in its pure and most essential form as conservation planning. The theoretical considerations uphold such conclusion.
