The main task of the degree project: to make the functional planning of a recreation centre while making a spatially arranged environment.
The analysis of territory of Barbele Rural District, the review of a cultural heritage-historical is made, the potential for progress of tourism was found.
In the diploma project the territory ‘Auseklu dzirnavas’ is considered. The designed territory is considered as whole, analyzed landscape area. Decisions for hydraulic engineering constructions and proposed construction of a complex of buildings are described. The theoretical background is developed for the concept of a lay-out. Detailed decisions for small architectural forms are presented.
As well economical calculations, necessary work amount and possible cost were made.
The diploma project consists of an explanatory part (81 pages, containing the text, 61 pictures and 24 tables, a graphic part (4 plane-tables А0 in the size 0,84*1,9м, 1 plane-table А0 for a visual illustration (proportional model of a projected landscape 3).
