- Abstract in English : This paper examines the type of social outputs that are derived from urban green spaces where the definition and parameters surrounding these outputs were identified from a long-term study of the public use and perception of urban green, using a study area where users had wide and free choice regarding which sites to visit. From this work social outputs were identified through the development of a simple model which allowed the elaboration of criteria to assess the performance of UGS. Ideas were tested and refined using a wide range of European reference cities in order to develop universal benchmarks for UGS social outputs which are capable of assessing UGS performance against user expectations.
