- Contents in English : For a number of years various plant species have been tested with regard to their suitability for extensive roof planting. This article presents the first results of a trial planting on extensive insulated roofs with a gravel covering. A total of 27 species of perennials and shrubs were investigated, whereby planting did not take place in monocultures but in associations.
